@xyus I wish. Source maxes out at 720p and with a less than ideal bitrate. I'm starting to wonder if this is even airing in 1080p within Japan. I wonder if Hulu Japan has better quality?

I'll take what I can get with this show since horrible isn't doing it and no one's ripping the hard subs to put on a tv raw. Thanks :)

I'm just having the German simulcast for it, so I can't share the English one (before someone asks). However, it costs 10 euro for all episodes with 1080p downloads in case someone wants to pay for it.

@eXmendiC Can you say the place that has it 1080p in English? Or even just 1080p RAW/soft subs? The only other site I've found only provides 1080p with hardcoded French subtitles. Unless they provide English only in certain regions.

@pointarell I checked there but only saw French. Do I need to access it from a specific country to get English?

@japzone That might be it. There's english subs on the swedish version of it.

@pointarell Yep, that did it. Switched my VPN to Sweden and everything is in English. Now I have to debate over paying the 5€/month in order to get HD, if they even have a payment provider I can use. UPDATE: Okay, another problem. Having trouble ripping the video from there. ffmpeg keeps choking after it parses the m3u8 and tries to grab the mp4 pieces. Claims there's "No such file or directory"

@pointarell UPDATE2: Nevermind, ffmpeg just didn't like the long gibberish output filename it was defaulting to. Manually specifying a filename fixed it :P Still need to decide whether I want to pay the 5€/month though...

@japzone You could pay 10€ once and download all the episode as they come out if you wanted would be cheaper if this is the only show your intrested in. Though either way no one gonna blame you since were all pirates anyway.

You have to pay for the downloads (1 euro per episode). The streams have much worse quality (abr with 5mbps). The downloads are crf=12 without any bitrate limit. You can bypass the protection (not that easy, but possible) of the streams, but it's not worth it. Just take the downloads, they are without DRM.

@eXmendiC They give you DRM free video downloads? Talk about a rarity these days. Still debating about the 10€ purchase price though. Also wonder if there's any watermarking embedded in the files. Paying for them would leave a paper trail to me when I start sharing them if so.

I doubt there is a watermark. At least there is no visible one I have seen so far. It probably would require lots of captivity. Some groups (including myself) are even using their video as a source for some shows.
