Thank you for saving fansubbing! 720p only because the show’s native res (the resolution the anime was animated/drawn at) is 720p. Use madvr with some fancy upscaler and settings for maximum benefit. Encode from BDMV and Hi444PP. DebicubicM was used to revert the studio’s upscaling and then nnedi3 AA was used to fix the aliasing (all done in 16bit.) Nothing more. CR base(pretty much untouched besides some line splits, the script’s pretty flawless,) completely retimed, OP/ED with ktiming (actual kfx later) and typeset to autistic standards for maximum viewing pleasure. We’ll probably do the rest of the episodes by volume. This is as good as it gets. Enjoy!
