The good thing about BD rips is that unless someone fukced up the video should match. So those subs should work with this video.

eXmendiC Yeah, but they're synced to the bluray. Easy to remux onto whatever BD source you want.

Remember that if you are downloading subtitles only for releases from fansub groups, you also need to download the fonts associated with those releases and either install them or mux them in. Otherwise all the typesetting will look bad. Putting the font files in the same folder as the mkv may also work, though I haven't tested it.

many people forget about that and just mux the subtitle files out as .mks or extracting raw .ass files via cmd now do the linked gjm subs include the subs in them or not?

I would recommend you grab those files from [HERE](https://animetosho.org/view/von-flip-flappers-1080p-flac-bd.1104003) and click 'All attachments' to download a zip with all the files you need.
