While we did use the official subs as a base, we ran them through the wringer. A full and thorough translation check has been run, and the songs almost entirely retranslated. I am a longtime (1997) fan of the old anime, so doing this was pretty much a given. It took a while because we were fumbling around, future episodes might go a bit more smoothly.
