A little late today as we chose to typeset all the introductions of the Military Rangers. Speaking of which, we also adjusted their names! Well, the three of them that the official subtitles didn’t quite nail, at least. They’re all anagrams of various insects. Kademu is from “mukade”, meaning centipede. Hiria is from “hiari”, meaning fire ant. Mashimu is likely “ma” (demon) and “mushi” (insect/worm) combined. For comparison, the official subtitles used Kadem, Hillia, and Mashim, which we didn’t agree with. Although the others didn’t need changing, if you’re interested: Danima is from “madani”, meaning tick. And Gaomoi is from “imogai”, meaning cone snail.
