Censored and needing "patching" is not a big issue. The remaster being buggy is the bigger issue.

@okaeshi why do you want shitty bad written sex scenes instead of the better ones that replaced them? Nasu only put in the sex scenes because the artist (who handled the business side of things) said it would sell better Realta Nua is a director's cut, not just censored

@okaeshi it's... it's based on the vita version of realta nua. we've known what's different between it and the original doujin release for well over a decade.

@wanwanjiro When people refer to the censoring in Realta Nua, most of us aren't talking about the sex scenes, which are mostly shoehorned in and silly, outside of some of Sakura's (those actually fit and make sense in the narrative of her route). We're talking about the dialogue in general. There are tons of more mature dialogue that was censored and/or removed in Realta Nua to lower the age rating. Pretty much all dialogue that could be even remotely taken as sexual in nature has been removed, such as Taiga commenting on Sakura's body developing, or Shirou being aware of Rin's boobs pressing up against him when they're in the alley spying on Gilgamesh, etc. They also removed any references to drinking alcohol (no big deal, no one really cares), as well as pretty much all reference to gore, even though the game is so violent (some of those dead/bad endings are nuts lol). Shinji's dialogue with Sakura has been SIGNIFICANTLY altered all throughout the game. Etc. There's quite a lot. Of course, Realta Nua also adds a LOT of great extra textual content, music, new scenes, and new effects, which is awesome. But anyway, this is why I prefer the Ultimate Version of the game, which lets you have the best of both worlds; all the additions from Realta Nua, but WITHOUT the censoring, and with the ability to use the original pre-VITA music (which imo is superior), if you want to. Now if we could just get the uncropped widescreen CG's from this version ported into that one, everything would be golden...
