why not softsub?
If this is a CR leak or something, please go kill yourself.
based, keep the leaks coming. hibike s3 would be cool
@EpicMan because it's an hardsubbed leak
@matheousse i think he was asking why the leak is hardsubbed. CR doesn't hardsub
Please be polite, bob. This is a civilized place.
Look, I'm trying to be especially impolite here because of how important this is. Leaks mean increased security from Crunchyroll and the Japanese publishers, which is bad for everyone. Less time to translate the episode, lower quality CR encodes, delays in CR episode release times... the consequences are unforeseeable, but they could take a variety of forms. Someone who releases leaks is risking all those consequences for personal clout.
🤮🤮🤮
> CR doesn’t hardsub They sure do for certain devices (consoles, mobile?) on their respective api endpoints but I wasn't aware of those streams being this bad. 100% agreed with bob tho.
bob thinks for the good of everyone, chad
CR already got flack for releasing/leaking AoT early and NHK held onto that grudge for years after it happened, they probably still do.

@motbob my thoughts exactly this is could end up being very harmful for the CR rip scene, with almost nothing gained. rips are one thing, but leaks are a big deal. this is very likely to get CR's attention.
Leaks are fucking lame. Nobody cares about watching 1 episode like a week early compared to the risk of increased crackdown on ripping, and potential delays added to streaming services like we've seen before.
The internet was never meant to stream content. We need to go back to TV Broadcasts and VHS tapes. The streaming service doomsday needs to happen asap.
\>watch leaked episode, two weeks earlier \>still have to wait three weeks for the next episode gg
trannylator probably slipped on a dilator and clicked upload
based as fuck keep em coming
reported to cr and kadokawa
Is this release poorly translated, though? On a bright side, fansubbers can make quality TL early until a proper video is out. The sad thing is fansubbing is dead.
why burn your access on something as garbage as konosuba, genuinely the most braindead thing possible
this isn't the first thing they uploaded but okay
@Abunja nope, subs are fine
YOU KNOW WHAT I’M GONNA TELL YOU RIGHT NOW YOU'RE A BUNCH OF LYING NO GOOD PIRATES AND I KNOW WHO IT'S COMING FROM I KNOW WHO'S UPLOADING WHAT AND WHO'S DOING IT YOU'VE BEEN REPORTED TO THE CYBERPOLICE AND THE STATE POLICE YOU BETTER NOT RIP ONE MORE THING OR SCREW WITH CRUNCHYROLL AGAIN YOU'LL BE ARRESTED END OF CONVERSATION AND IF YOU EVER COME NEAR NYAA AGAIN GUESS WHAT CONSEQUENCES WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

why are people le mad?

@herkz this fool uploaded "Gods Games We Play" episode in nyaa first too
motbob, we all know you are full of shit. CR is already at rock bottom in terms of quality; in fact switching to MTL would be an improvement on average in terms of accuracy. So CR literally can't get worse. It's impossible.
you dont even know english
Stop making it hard for future releases. Leaking episodes earlier than their due date involves higher scrutiny from publishers and streaming services. How hard is it to wait until the release date???
chill your pants guys, leaks in this age are common and we don't need to panic and think about what caused the leak. Curiosity killed the cat, right? Fellers, if you're gonna watch subbed anime anyway, know that fansubbers (GJM as example) aren't any better and you'll never get your high quality subtitles for the things you truly hold dear. Ultimately, for the finest experience konosuba is best watched in Japanese. If you don't want to learn or don't know Japanese then you're settling for the worse experience. It's your choice after all so I won't meddle any further.
>switching to MTL would be an improvement on average in terms of accuracy retarded take
> retarded take Would you really expect anything else in a Nyaa comment section
Thanks but no point watching this and then waiting 3 weeks.
> retarded take It's the actual truth. Look at the HIDIVE subs for Sokushi Cheat for example. MTL literally cannot be as wrong as HIDIVE. We are already at the rock bottom, it's only up from here.
anyone who unironically thinks mtl would be a better option has crippling autism also the easiest way for them to prevent these leaks in the future is by not having early screenings at conventions. you can't trust con staff with shit that's probably what will end up happening as a result of this
To all the crybabies who complain that an anonymous person leaked episode 1, haven't you seen yourself in a mirror? Look where you are on a pirate torrent site, what did you expect to happen? hahaha
Thanks for letting me know this was a hardsubbed shit release. Hey asshole, next time rip one where I don't have to look at cringe.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOW CAN I LOOK MY MEGUMIN TULPA IN THE EYES AFTER HER THIRD SEASON (spin-off doesn't count) GOT LEAKERINOD ON THE INTERNET SOMEONE GET SHERLOCK HOLMES FROM YUUKOKU NO MORIARTY ON THE CASE AND TORTURE THE LIKELY JEWISH PERPETRATOR RIGHT FUCKING NOW
> Game leaks early Pirates: Nice. > Anime leaks early Pirates: Oh no no no... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@cosmic you differently have autism if you think MTL is worse than Localization and Americanization happening in the official sub
@FairiluRoze People complain about leaks because there’s a decent chance it’ll lead to tougher DRM which will make sourcing episodes harder
most official american subs have san kun sama chan nowadays what are you talking about? go watch bilibili subs if you want MTL trash
@sazaefan legend
posting in epic bread
yeah, I'm agreeing to @motbob on this one. If CR or any JPN publishers takes actions about this, it will be a pain for some people to get WEB-DL with a downside of lower video quality in the future.
we need to bomb america and let them have a taste of hiroshima
> releases this new konosuba episode expecting no one will pick it up > naturally, does big numbers since it's kadokawa's biggest anime IP as of this writing > not even 6 days later, Unnamed Memory (UM henceforth) is watermaked with the justification that "Only our biggest releases will have watermarks." > enter Level Two #01 leak which, despite *not being watermaked* in any way, shape or form, is currently being downloaded 200-300 times more than UM01 > release group is literally named "fools" there couldn't have been a more fitting name for a release group of this caliber! thanks!
I just ask, i don't want to insult or else, i'm just curious about something i don't understand, so i ask for people who know the issue: so, on this website or torrents providers in general, we can download more "safely" legally speaking (i don't talk about infringement of law, i talk about real repercussion, like when you have a Youtuber who got his channel "striked" by officials), when it's about RIP, but it's dangerous if it's leak...? I don't really get the difference, so please explain that first. Also, second thing, correct me if i'm wrong: aren't the people who condemn uploading leak instead of RIP, the ones who defend CAM release, with work & edit on it? How a CAM release is more safe than a leak? Again, i don't know the whereabouts, i just read comments and i try to understand both points. Thank you.
@mayukawa: nobody can provide a clear explanation on anything you talked about but CAM and leaks are not "safer" by any means, but if you downloaded either one of them (or both) you have legal room to talk about their contents crackdowns will always happen against such tho (but never happened here or on a well-managed piracy site IIRC), i almost never download any leaks of any type, and CAM rips... yeah, imma retreat from that just as well.
@mayukawa: I mostly don't like leaks/cams because unless they're a proper quality encode with proper quality softsubs I'm not going to watch them. And if I don't watch them I have to avoid certain people and internet places I usually go to to after weekly episodes because those places will be discussing the leaks. Then when the proper release does come out it won't be the same because a bunch of people have already watched the inferior leak some time ago. That's just me though. In general the amount of leaks "fools" is doing is dangerous because the companies look bad when their episodes are available on illegitimate places before the legitimate ones. And companies don't like to look bad so it will encourage them to put more pressure on illegitimate "sharing" sites and increase how securely the releases are legitimately shared internally and externally. With cams there's not much they can do other than try to physically prevent people from recording with cameras. For leaks though, extra security could easily result in major disruptions in ripping activities and an overall reduced quality of rips and subs since websites might become significantly more difficult to rip from and translators might get less time or more restrictions while subbing. The games industry has shown that no matter what security companies attempt it's very likely going to be possible to bypass it, but it could be made to require significantly more effort than it currently does (especially considering how mostly automated it currently is). And at some point the ease of screen capturing could be so much easier than a proper rip that quality and softsubs could be compromised, especially for lesser watched shows. So in summary: these kinds of leaks have more far more cons than pros... since the only pro is "less waiting time"... that, unless the leaks can be reliably consistent (which is unlikely...), people will have to pay back that "less waiting time" when waiting for a next episode from the proper release schedule...
lmao people sperging out over early release of an anticipated series. good job op, been a while since I seem them this stirred up.agreed that its just sakuracon leak, if anything op is risking his own shit than any kind of cr sabotage people are talking about.
@padowu if you are going to discuss morals, I wouldn't do it on a pirate site
@Killuaalt Where do I discuss morals? The things I discussed are that leaks/cams tend to be shit quality that I won't watch, and frequent leaks could help encourage companies to reinforce their security efforts which could have negative impacts on the current state of anime piracy.
Ppl here discussing morals on a torrent full of pirate anime and with tb of content downloaded.
