The Blu-Ray release of Chobits is a terrible standard-def upscale and the DVD rips available are from Pentium 4 era. Sad there's not a better option for this series.
For anyone that wants to work on making a good release of Chobits, or getting a quality upscale using modern tech, here's the raw ISO files of the 7x DVD set that Pioneer/Geneon released in USA back in the early 2000s. As far as I know this is the best quality source available.
If you are looking to download these to watch, they are dual audio (English / Japanese) and have two subtitle tracks (English Signs / English Dialogue). Mount the ISO and it'll play as a DVD, or run it through MakeMKV if you want regular MKV files.
