The video track was slightly degrained for easier debanding.
Backgrounds look amazing. Overall beautiful anime, but would be even better, if they didn’t use so much CGI on head rotations :/

Chapters are from the BDMV.

A Note to the uploader: please don’t include any messages that could mislead viewers, or messages that could result in viewers’ biases in the info!
Note to other people who might be interesting in this piece of work directed by Kitarou Kousaka:
Please watch with more attention, all character animation are done in 2D, including all sub characters’ animation in the background.
The only moving 3D objects in the whole movie are flower pedals and fish kites.
Needless to say, head and body spinning (you don’t rotate your head), dancing, instruments playing, car moving are all hand-drawn animation.

@araiya:

I suppose my comment in the description sounds a little too dramatic, but it’s not made up.
There are several scenes supported by CGI (not specific to 3D btw), which include much more than just those exceptions that you have listed in your comment.
It was not my goal to keep people from watching this. I could’ve just not uploaded it in the first place.
While working on the subtitles I just came across a handful of animations that seemed off to me, considering how exceptional well the rest of the movie is produced.
Instead of just mentioning these personal issues that I had with the video, I should’ve also acknowledged how beautiful the rest of the movie looks and that it still holds up.
This sound all obvious to me in hinsight. Sorry
