Well, I know the piont of view on this episode was supposed to carry out the craziness and freedom of "Joy boy", but they overdone it by making it way too western. Especially with the looney tunes sound effects and the eyes... oh my God, the eyes... please no more of that. I hope they'd be more reserved and show us the awesome battles as they should be.
Of course, I think, this was much easier to draw and present than usual battle styles, so maybe that's another reason? In a scene it was just sketch drawings ffs.
_This episode was:_
5 minutes of people (mostly samurai 🤢) going **"WOW thing is happening!!!** 🫨🤯",
then another 5 of Komurasaki being useless and also, worst of all, a w🤮man,
then another 5 of the same 3 clips of Luffy dancing, being a goober & generally a pretty silly little guy.
This barely left some 5 minutes of actual plot progression at the end.

@Noro So true, man, they dropped the ball so hard by just being Toei and doing what they usually do while giving no fucks whatsoever... I would've preferred going this week without an episode at all and then having a proper one next week.
They stretched an entire episode with filler shit and you lot enjoy it too?
Insane. CR clips on Youtube do a better job at showing off gear fifth than this.
We're just happy for arrival of Joyboy. Despite criticism, It is still an epic episode. If u look in Manga, u will find pacing moments, and Looney tunes drawings. It is pretty much identical to Manga. Luffy gear 5 form looks a bit flat, he needs a bit more volume in hairs and eyebrows. Anyway, next few episodes will be absolute bliss. Kaido needs a good smack in lizard face.
