Because funimation owns crunchy roll now and funi's is owned by movie studio corporations like Universal Pictures, They purchase funi back in 2005 Today it might say Sony Pictures Intl., At&T TV, Universal Pictures etc They keep moving around like a chess piece. Its one of the ways movie industry corporations keep their assets high so stock prices won't fall. They wanted to own crunchyroll so bad, 1 billion was spent to get the Anime streaming service.and control of everything related to Anime globally except for the only other U.S. export/import business, Sentai productions.

@JustSayNo2Funi: Funimation's audio from their streams are a higher bitrate than Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll has better video quality than Funimation and does not have hardsubbed signs. We only rip from both sources when the show is extremely popular and is streaming on both sites, such as this show or Dr. Stone for example.
