Description: A fan-edit of One Piece's 14th movie "Film Red" that replaces the Japanese vocals of Ado with the English vocals of AmaLee in the English audio track. This is NOT simply AmaLee's covers overlayed on the scenes they're used in. AmaLee's covers have different instrumentals and in some cases timing. Her vocals have been pulled so they can be matched with the correct instrumentals, and SFX and dialogue have been preserved to the best of my ability. An unedited Japanese Audio track as well as full English subtitles are included to make the project file more complete. Tools: Ultimate Vocal Remover, Audacity, DaVinci Resolve. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS VERSION 1, A PROOF OF CONCEPT!! This is not considered a perfect edit that's as seamless as the original audio. Certain songs have more obvious editing, but I intend to make an improved version 2, when the Blu-Ray comes out in July. With its 5.1 Surround Sound audio, the 6 audio channels will make it easier to isolate different noises. A description of the quality of each song: NEW GENESIS — A very well executed edit. All sounds are preserved and AmaLee sounds natural. The only improvement I can see happening in v2 is audio bitrate and the Surround Sound itself. I'M INVINCIBLE — Some SFXs sound muted, but for the most part this edit went solid. WHERE THE WIND BLOWS (child) — AmaLee doesn't sound like a child, but neither did Ado so I don't intend to change it unless there's a convincing way to make her sound more childlike (not pitch-shifting, that makes her sound all out of tune). BACKLIGHT — Another smooth, aproblematic edit. THE WORLD'S CONTINUATION (teenager) — This song has some major syncing issues. AmaLee's cover doesn't sing the same speed as Ado. I had to adjust AmaLee's vocal speeds almost beat-for-beat. I also had to switch back to Ado once Gordon interrupts, as there's no way to seperate two vocals on the same audio channel. FLEETING LULLABY — Some more SFX sound muted but are for the most part preserved. TOT MUSICA — This one has so much dialogue and SFX talking over Ado. I was able to preserve some of it, but it's impossible to isolate two people talking over each other. For many parts I have AmaLee and Ado singing simultaneously. This edit is planned to get a major makeover in version 2. THE WORLD'S CONTINUATION — More syncing issues along with a couple of muted SFX. But again, some speed adjustments have made it adequate. WHERE THE WIND BLOWS (ending) — This edit is poor. The elephant in the room is that AmaLee's sang "Where the Wind Blows" but not in a weakly voice. I lowered the volume of her voice, adjusted her speed, but nothing can actually make it sound like it's supposed to. I don't even think 5.1 audio could help me fix this in version 2, as isolating sounds isn't the problem. Unless there's some AI that can change her emotion and intonations, or AmaLee makes a new recording, this one will be nigh impossible. Worst case scenario, I'll just keep it as Ado in the version 2 for immersion sake. WHERE THE WIND BLOWS (credits) — This one is a perfect edit, as all that needed to be done was the replacement of some vocals.
