Author: Misaki Saginomiya Illustrator: Hiten Genres: Drama, Romance, School Life Translation: [Rinvelt House](https://web.archive.org/web/20200902161547/https://rinveltsou.wordpress.com/mc-and-reader/) --- > Hosono Akira loves the novel “14 Years Old” and its protagonist Tokiko. On the day he enters high school, a girl named Hiiragi Tokiko appears, and she’s just like Tokiko. This is the story about the impossible meeting between the Reader and the Protagonist. --- The blog this was translated on was nuked and only available through the wayback machine. The illustrations were all 404 so I used the ones from dl-raw's rip (quality ain't amazing but at least they're there). This was a request I forgot to do. Tee hee.

Just fyi, you can usually get high-res covers from Booklive. Here's Reader's cover. Search Google images for site:booklive.jp "読者と主人公と二人のこれから" and then replace the thumbnail filename with X. https://res.booklive.jp/439658/001/thumbnail/X.jpg And you can sometimes get better illustrations (first few anyway) from Bookwalker by shift-right clicking on their reader and opening the image in a new tab. It scales to your monitor size though, so it's best to flip your orientation to portrait so that the image renders in a higher resolution. It's not always better though so you'll have to compare. Lastly, I uploaded a lot of epub raws to Libgen via Z-Library/Anna's Archive, so you can check there too. annas-archive.org/ Most of them are from here. https://nyaa.si/?f=0&c=0_0&q=PeepoHappyBooks

Yeah I knew about the bookwalker method (it's what I usually do) but it only works for the free trial pages so I'd have to get most greyscales from somewhere else regardless. For this novel bookwalker preview didn't have any color illustration at all (unless I'm missing something obvious)... so I ended up using all those from dl-raw. Thanks for the other info though! I really need hints on better sources for raw LNs other than dl-raw (and copycats) and the occasional thing that's on itazuraneko
I usually just google reverse image search it until I find something that has high-res raws. For example, epub-tw.com sometimes has all the illustrations in good resolutions. Most of those epubs are from Kindle which tends to have lower-res pics.
Thank you so much for all the effort for these.
