The source is of average quality. The main problem is haloing from post-sharpening, as well as slight banding and DCT noise. We adopted descaling and reconstruction to the line, followed by mild anti-aliasing and aggressive de-haloing. Then came routine de-banding, compensatory sharpening and adaptive denoising.
