There have been so many fansub releases of Monogatari that had so much effort put into them, whether they were MTBB, Commie, or Coalgirls. Shoutouts to Unbased, without whom this project would have been a hollow shell of how it turned out. I don't know how I got a world-class translator to follow me along on my fansubbing whims, but I count my lucky stars every time I think about it. Unbased translated Zoku and TLC'd Bake, Nise, Owari2, Tsuki, and Koyomi, as well as answering miscellaneous translation questions as I QC'd the rest of the series. Shoutouts to knowsuchpeace, who prepared scripts for Bake and Owari2 with heavy reference to the LNs and who was probably responsible for both those projects getting off the ground at all. This also goes for the rest of the StoryTime team. Shoutouts to the official LN translators. I don't know what those guys got paid, but it wasn't enough. It was incredibly useful and important to have access to a good alternate translation when I was working on Owari1 solo. Shoutouts to the Commie teams throughout the years, especially futsuu. Monogatari SS is one of the most impressive fansub projects ever. If [MTBB] Nise-Owari1 can be said to be "good releases," that's Commie's doing. Shoutouts to Arid, witchymary, and Scrad for their work on TS. I understand that I was essentially offloading my misery onto you, and I am grateful to you for being foolish enough to volunteer. Shoutouts to Coalgirls. I have criticized Coalgirls a lot over the years, and their releases *are* inferior to the Commie line of releases in various ways, but the more I reflect on things, the more I realize that they cared about the series as much as anyone, and the lack of quality was more due to questionable nyaa-dot-se rules than anything else. Shoutouts to anyone who ever made a release of this show and didn't use the Aniplex scripts. And finally, shoutouts to Nisio. Editing this series is so freaking fun. Or was. I guess it's all past tense now.
