Junko Sakurada is an idol singer who debuted in 1973, alongside other hit-makers, Momoe Yamaguchi and Masako Mori (idol turned enka singer). She was active until 1983 in which she became mostly an actress until her marriage in a "Unification Church" in 1992, although her husband was picked by the church itself but since they're still together, I guess it worked well. She led a mostly private life from that point onward, releasing a book in 2006 while her music was reissued in 2008 (although copies of her albums are hard to find, hence why this isn't an album discography). For her 40th anniversary in 2013, she reappeared in the public, releasing a commemorative compilation ("Thanks 40"), then again in 2018 ("Thanks 45") although as a live compilation. She also released an album in 2018 ("My Idology"), and since her reemergence, she has been in a lot of concerts and public performances which is great! Included here are all of her singles (both A and B sides), released from 1973 to 1983. While it's not a complete album discography, I think 76 songs are enough to have an introduction to a great idol (while I try to look for her missing albums...), so enjoy!
