Here is a complete series torrent for Barom-1, the elusive Toei tokusatsu series from 1972, as raws! These files were originally hosted on raredoramas.net, and are a little peculiar. For one thing, they are sized at 480x360, which is a quarter of what they should be at their full-screen size. I also can't tell where they were ripped from, but whatever the source was, it's serviceable and will do as a replacement until GuST's torrent gets seeded again. For those of you who don't know, Barom-1 is one of Toei's back catalog shows that, much like Condorman, is tied up in a legal battle with its creators over ownership rights, and will probably never see another DVD/BD release, or a streaming release on Toei's You Tube channel. It features two young boys who are granted the power to cross their arms and combine into the superhero Barom-1, who has his own adult personality and fights the absolutely evil entity known as Gomon, who seeks to destroy the human world and turn all humans into his monstrous slaves. This series was rebooted into a 13-episode anime series in 2003, under the moniker "Barom-One." It featured a similar plot, only the heroes' powers were gained through cyberspace, and it took place in the future year of 2013. Not much to say about the anime adaptation, as it was very short and didn't have the style that the toku series had. I'm currently working on editing ARR's old sub scripts & making new fansubs of the 2003 anime, so stay tuned for that.
