# Dragon Ball Z Kai: Faulconer American OST Edition --- Kenji Yamamoto was the composer of the score for Dragon Ball Z: Kai. Following the discovery of his extensive plagiarism during his tenure on the franchise, he was fired. The last 3 episodes of Kai hadn't even aired in Japan yet, and Toei had to quickly scrap his music for subsequent episodes. Toei's solution was a massive hack-job of Kikuchi music, hastily reusing tracks they had. The result was fairly mixed in the fandom, some viewing it as inferior to the Yamamoto score, even if they enjoyed the Kikuchi score in Dragon Ball Z. Because the dub for Kai is in 5.1 audio, people can remove the music and create rescores. Due to Yamamoto's score not being officially available in it's entirety in the west, some users felt a demand for a rescore that encompassed all of Kai and Kai TFC. Diccolo-420 decided to rescore Kai and TFC with the "Faulconer Productions" score, famously used during the Funimation dub of Dragon Ball Z. This appeals to people that love the Faulconer score, whilst also enjoying the dub of Kai. Otherwise, people that want a single score for all episodes of Kai and TFC. **These audio files sync perfectly to the US-BDs of both Dragon Ball Z Kai and Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters.
