"Dragon Ball Z: Rock the Dragon Edition is a 2013 collector's DVD box set that features the entire 1996-1998 Ocean Studios dub of Dragon Ball Z, which originally aired in the U.S. on first-run syndication and later on Toonami, prior to the Funimation in-house dub. Each box set consists of a 48-page hardbound book featuring character profiles, the history of the series, and other trivia; with the nine DVDs for the Ocean dub stored in folder-like slots on the inner side of the back cover. It is named after the American "Rock the Dragon" opening theme song by Shuki Levy and Ron Wasserman. This box set features the edited 53 episodes of the Saiyan and Namek Sagas, and the three DBZ movies dubbed by the Ocean cast: Dead Zone, The World's Strongest and The Tree of Might. This boxset is the best official way to watch the Ocean dub. There aren't really any remuxes for it on here, so I decided to upload. I prefer it to the Pioneer and Madman DVD releases of the Ocean dub. Please enjoy.

Thank you ghosty, very based. much better than certain OTHER people who only put out green video and dont have this blassed audio with kalamis-dono to go along with it.
The RtD set features the Ron Wasserman score for Movie 3, if I remember correctly while the original Z score is on the Pioneer DVD. Mr. Wasserman did a great job, love his music.
Just a shame FUNimation never released the Westwood dub on DVD or Blue Water's DB/GT dub.
I just want to say thanks i don't know about others but i liked the ocean dub of DBZ. That is the way i was introduced to DBZ and every time i watch other dubs i always resort to those dubs.I heard alot of people do not like this because they say the acting is not good or the script was no good etc.I wish they would have released on dvd the cell and majin buu saga to go along with this i have seen it and was very happy with the outcome i know it was edited but who cares. Thanks Ghosty6464 for keeping this dub alive and thanks to seed of might for doing cell and buu arc.I agree with you impakt they should release the blue water dubs of DB and DBGT as well. What happend to your clint eastwood avatar. I know i have bothered people on the comments section many times for the kai dvd iso but even if anybody has the blu ray iso it will also do because i can convert to dvd and have englsih and japanese audio with subs.

Whaat! The script was "modified," but the voice acting was great.

FUNimation made a **great** English dub of Dragon Ball Z when Dragon Ball Kai (but FUNi's Kai TFC dub felt half-assed) came around. However, I'll admit their Z dub of Majin Boo was half-decent so there's that

I liked using it, though this anime avatar (Sunabōzu) is its "official" picture of this account.

That's no bother. If you want just that, go with the official FUNimation DVD release.
Lastly, I don't think I'll be sharing big uploads here anymore (due to H&R) as it's more reliable to upload on private trackers. I'm on ACM, CRT, PRT, and ZQ.
Keep an eye on this [Reddit page](https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenSignups/) to register on a private tracker (some are worth it, some aren't).
Ah yes, Rock The Dragon, in a lot of ways this dub is better than the terrible FUNi dub. It's a shame that something like this was never released for Westwood. I would have loved to hear Kelamis do Goku going Super Saiyan. Oh well.

I don't know why you want the Kai DVD as well, as the Bluray is a higher bitrate?
Honestly, Kai looks terrible no matter what.
Also, Funimation does not own the rights to Blue Water dub or Westwood. They never did.
FURTHERMORE, that above pic is a lie. The Kai BD doesn't look nearly that shit. That is an encode.
I really want to thank everyone here who puts in these long hours and meticulous detail to come up with better more definitive releases than the right holders end up doing. You guys get a lot of shit from some pretty big losers if you ask me, and I for one am in just awe of it most of the time. It's your hard work that will be seen by my kids as their main exposure to these shows, and I think that kinda means something you know?
Keep up the good work Ghosty. I'm looking at you too Impakt & iKaos and the other SoM and TC people that i don't know the names of.

still my fav dub, remember watcing zarbon drown vegitta one morning before church, told all my friends about namak during the initial toonami run, they all though i was lying, shows my age a little but what evs, thanks for the nostalga fix

I did a check of 3 sources for a later ep - again my own USBD, Volitank's USBD remux, and a JPBD remux: https://slow.pics/c/ukGGYaiY
While there are slight differences in encoding/detail between USBD and JPBD, the colors are 100% identical. Whoever took that initial screenshot is a liar or was working with crappy encodes.
@The-good_Man1994 There is literally zero reason for this. I only did this remux for the Ocean dub. The Funi singles are genuinely ugly compared to the dragon boxes. I highly recommend getting the "Dragon Boxes Merge" by JySzE/Romao. iKaos included the dubs here. https://nyaa.si/view/1331089
