Dual-audio release featuring my own 1080p encodes and modified Foxtrot subtitles. Filtering: rescaling (episodes 1-9, 720p), anti-aliasing, dehaloing, adaptive denoising, minor debanding and adaptive grain. 1080p elements and a handful of other parts were scenefiltered. Episodes 10-24 are native 868p, but descaling them doesn't appear to be possible.
Subtitles: I resampled the scripts to 1080p, restyled the dialogue (same font, mostly just color changes) and added some fades to various dialogue lines. A handful of scenebleeds, typos and grammatical errors were fixed as well. I spent most of my time revising the typesetting, as everything needed to be tweaked in one way or another (particularly the blur/timing/fades of all the 'location name' signs and episode titles). Also added romaji to the OPs/EDs and changed the styling to something that more closely resembles the credits. Massive thanks to basheer_naimi for the extensive QC and Foxtrot for their work.
This v2 release features both the Sentai and Netflix dubs, with Sentai being the default option since it's lossless. Additionally, the subtitles have been updated to include all of the fixes mentioned [here](https://pastebin.com/raw/5uTiFYsJ), as well as a few issues that were only present in my 1080p release.
If you are looking for a 720p release, I recommend [Foxtrot](https://nyaa.si/view/1427805).
Enjoy!
two eng dubs? that's pretty wild, awesome to have options, can anyone who watched this already tell me which english dub is truest to the source material?
Could you please upload your subtitles seperately ( external link)?
I ask this as Animetosho didn't have either yours or foxtrot's.
Kindly do consider it.
Thank you
@FIGLU Personally, I enjoyed Sentai's dub more than Netflix's. I imagine the Sentai dub script is based off their sub script which was done by Jake Jung, and he's a darn good translator. From what I've seen, he's done a pretty good job for the sub, and the dub voice actors certainly had a lot of fun casting. Both dubs have their pros and cons, and both handle some things better than the other at times.
It genuinely baffles me how anyone can prefer the Sentai dub over the Netflix one. The Sentai one literally sounds like a bunch of amateurs with amateur recording equipment doing it for shits and giggles on Youtube. The Netflix one actually sounds like a competent professional production, and it's a massive shame that's the one which will be forever confined to a 128kbps webrip track.
