In the future (?), idol's performance is scored using an advanced AI system that eliminates bias. And no idol has ever scored as well as Nagase Mana. On her way to become the top idol of the world tragedy struck, and her career, as well as her life, ended. While her manager and close friend, Makino Kouhei, was devastated, he decided to move forward, and became the manager of a group of idols that included Mana's sister, Kotono. To his surprise, Kotono's voice is almost identical to Mana's. Not only that, but it seems that Mana may not be completely gone. A surprise, to be sure, but a welcomed one. I didn't really have any expectations for this. I thought it would be a generic story about new idols succeeding. And it was that too, but it was also a surprisingly touching story about moving on. The girls are nice, and, like I said above, Mana's also one of the characters. The songs are nothing to write home about, but the characters carry the show. Pretty good finale as well.
