The tracks in this set have been remixed and declipped using a variety of audio tools in order to increase the dynamic range to DR10-DR11 and create a more consistent sound across all albums and singles in the band's discography. This process has been completely revised from that used for the earlier declipped versions of World Domination and Conqueror, in an attempt to produce a more pleasant listening experience.

Thank you so much for your hard work here. I've been trying to increase the dynamic range on my side of their discog too, but you seem more aware of what you're doing than I am, so I'm totally gonna download it and will keep seeding ! I have a few questions :
- Did you rip the CDs yourself or did you take external CD rips, if so where do they come from ?
- Are you planning to make an updating version of your Hi-Res DR Remix of WORLD DOMINATION ?
- Are there other artists for which you're planning to do/you did the same ?
Edit : Listening to Choose me at the moment. It is now super clear and not saturated anymore, it's quite impressive ! It's also really satisfying to hear the drums hit harder this way on Screaming :3. Congrats ~
Thanks! This was done over a period of months and I claim no professional knowledge or skills as an audio engineer, just a lot of trial and error using a combination of different tools to find what I think sounds best. Regarding your questions:
- Some of the lossless files were purchased from Ototoy, but they don't have all albums available there in lossless format. Others were downloaded from wherever they could be found.
- The Hi-Res version of World Domination was prepared by someone else. I haven't done any work with Hi-Res files.
- I have done some simple declipping with other artists' work for personal listening, but nothing this extensive. It takes a lot of relistening, readjusting, etc in order for me to find "the best sound", and I just don't have that kind of time.
- Got it ! I know a good tracker to find good CD rips, it's called REDacted.ch. It's one of those private tracker for which you need an invite or to pass the "interview" (basically some questions about your knowledges on audio and ripping etc) to enter it. Maybe it can help you in your research of source files in the future ^.^
- Oh okay, my bad. Hadn't take a look at the uploader's nickname indeed haha
- Gotcha. I've been trying on my end but it just takes me like a week at least for an album, sometimes I work on concert releases too, and same here, I don't have that kind of time, so I can totally understand your point here. The difference is definitely enjoyable, but is the time worth it considering how good the original data is ? I ended up answering no haha. I guess there are a few exceptions, and because of the loudness (sometimes even over saturation) BAND-MAID was one.
Well, that Remixing, it feels like a bad bass-boost.
Sorry, but I have the CDs my self, (most of them) I will buy the missing ones anyway. Sad that this release is more mehh than yehh.
