From early to mid 2000s Neon Genesis Evangelion was aired on Cartoon Network and Toonami.
When it was aired Cartoon Network heavily censored the show since it’s a children’s network.
Only the first two episodes were aired on Toonami as apart of Giant Robot Week in February of 2003.
