Alot more ppl read classic shoujo nowadays. Happy to see Hagio Moto's works from the 70s getting printed here eventually. But if there's something that I don't mind reading for the rest of my life, where my true passion lies, is mystery shoujo from the 80s. Now a dead genre.
I can't write much, the genre's pretty much dead. I don't have any link nor info but a couples of books to share, I hope everyone give it a try. If you trust my taste.
See that 7.5Mb file called "Black Collection" ? it's a oneshot with size smaller than mp3. Just download it first and make up your mind. It's like "Heart of Thomas" but with a different twist. Lol
Its always "take or leave it", you don't see me talk this way . Never. This time around I am trying to bring back the genre. Also paying tribute to my 2 all time favorite scanlation groups: Mangasync and StageStorm.
this kinda stuff is still very popular in some Asia countries such as Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore etc. I don't know why nobody reads it here.
Also give "Bride of Deimos" a try. Pretty much the same genre. Highly recommend.
Thanks! Sounds interesting, but I can't read w/out DDL since I'm staying at a friend's house for a while. Maybe I'll read later. Hope torrent stays up.
@Persona5RoyalOnSwitch: these titles are not too rare, ppl often overlook since there's not much info given. You can find them on any online reader.
I just pick the oneshots or anthology in the pack for an easy read and introduction. Once you're into it, there're series with more twists and turns from these authors :)
hope you'll enjoy.
I found a site with all classic mystery/horror shoujo in the 70s and 80s but translated into Thai.

there's no raws for this.
my life will never be completed.
