haven't seen AVI/XviD in a very long time miss it so much. No MKV, Softsubs, complicated codecs and bloated file sizes. Just DL and play on any player how simple those days were.
@kingofhearts oh that could be a good reason. i hope that the ocr tools get so good in the future that they will make these encodes irrelevant
divx itself isnt really the problem to me. its that they are from a time when people probably had 40gb of storage at best so file size was considered more important than quality
