lol just have the QC watch everything in a vanilla Windows VM with mpv installed but no fonts.

It is however possible to have the opposite problem. The TSer not having enough font’s.
I was watching [NH]'s release of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime S01
And could not figure out why the first sign looked so bad (the cliped shadow didn’t line up), I finally figured out that whoever was typesetting it only had the bold variant of the font so they never checked the bold box. I just happened to have the non bold variant installed on my system. I ended up having to set the font provider in mpv to “no” for this show, but now in ep 23 I get missing gliphs on apostrophes as the font providor would normally pick a font for fall back.
The whole point is that testing on a vanilla system doesn’t catch everything.
