Hang out in my Discord [here](https://discord.gg/QBHc4ydXfN). ___ **- 720p -** Audio Track 1: Japanese 2.0 AAC Subtitle Track 1: English Dialogue [GJM] (.ASS) ___ Sub-only release featuring my own 720p encode and GJM subtitles. The source is virtually the same as S1, which is good news. Filtering: dehardsubbing (Wakanim), edgefixing, descaling, denoising and adaptive grain. I downscaled the 1080p credits with a bilinear filter to avoid sharp edges and dark halos. Much like my AoT S4 uploads, this uses Funimation audio. Subtitles: GJM, without any changes. Any issues that might arise will be fixed for the WEB batch at the end of the season. Comparison with GJM v1 video [here](https://slow.pics/c/7lgcutTs). Enjoy!

I don't get why you don't just encode the video for them. It would be better than having 2 identical uploads apart for the video.

> @Interruptor - I don’t get why you don’t just encode the video for them. It would be better than having 2 identical uploads apart for the video. In case you didn’t know, I joined GJM and encoded Re-kan and Neverland S1 BDs for them about 1-2 years ago. As you can tell, those BD projects never saw the light of day, despite little work being needed. After a year of no progress, I left the group. Even if they reached out to me (which they didn’t, despite knowing I’d encode it), I simply wouldn’t want to work for a group that never utilized the previous encodes I made for them. So I think it’s for the better we do our own releases. I have my own schedule and preferences anyway. :) Speaking of S1, my own BD batch is currently in the works.
is this natively 720p or 1080p?

> @naiyas - is this natively 720p or 1080p? Both Neverland S1 and S2 are native 720p.
@Scyrous Yeah, I didn't know anything. Feels bad man. GJM in general stalls every BD release for literal ages.
Comparison with GJM v1 video here. Looser:)
it indeed looks better
Thanks will you gonna do S1 in BD dual audio?
@Galayob That kind of talk isn't necessary. Scy's a great encoder. To address the comment made about GJM, though: It's unfortunate that he feels slighted by the turnaround on GJM's BD projects, it's just how it is here. Only one or two people work on them outside of actually producing encodes. That didn't suit him, and that's fair enough. There's no hard feelings; on either side, I'd hope.
@GJM not sure about the great encoder thing. Anyways, I just don't see the point of sharing comparison with other encodes.

So people know what it is they're downloading and how it compares to other encodes out there. After all, the only difference here is the video. I imagine people will want to know why my release is twice the size and then decide whether or not it's worth downloading. Maybe you prefer GJM's filtering or their smaller sizes, that's all fine!
Seconding SCY being a great encoder. GJM encoder here.
@SCY Thank you for your kindness. Don't take other people’s comment at heart. Your encode is great
Thanks as always!
@Scyrous looks like GJM did release the BD's of season 1 are those your encodes?

>not sure about the great encoder thing. Actually he is, I've compared a lot of his releases with other releases and they were all great ! Although he is a bit of a bloater, he always provides great stuff.
What's the codec pack I need to watch this? I tried watching the encode with my current vlc setup and the screen just blinked in every direction.
