Kizuna Ai no Beat Scramble was Ai-chan's first variety show-like 30min/ep television series. It was broadcasted from 6th april to 22th june 2018 on BS Nippon Television. The episodes feature a mix of Ai-chan interviewing guests, reacting to episodes of the old anime "Konchuu Monogatari: Minashigo Hatchi/The Adventures of Hutch the Honeybee" and short real live clips where she surprises random people by talking to them through a screen. The show was poorly planned and after it lost its only sponsor just a few eps in, the series was cancelled and they had to fill the remaining time slots with reruns of previous episodes. Thus although being planned for at least 12 eps, these 6 are all episodes that were produced. But BS saw potential in her and from july 2018 onwards, Kizuna Ai followed up with a proper 1h/ep monthly variety show simply called "Kizuna Ai Nobangumi" which was commissioned by Nippon Television and much better planned and produced.
