In the multiplayer online game Glory, Ye Xiu is regarded as a textbook and a top-tier pro-player. However, due to a myriad of reasons, he is kicked from the team. After leaving the pro scene, he finds work in an Internet Cafe as a manager. When Glory launches its tenth server, he throws himself in to the game once more. Possessing ten years of experience, the memories of his past, and an incomplete, self-made weapon, his return along the road to the summit begins!

unforunately yes I have yet to find one that is not! :( was gonna try bilibili page but its kind of a nightmare to browse through and hard to buy rights to watch the videos on their premium service after making an account :(

it is a prequel as it takes place when Su Mucheng was a lil kid and her brother (Su Muqiu) was still alive as Lord Grim’s umbrella weapon from series was developed by him which i think its creation is covered in that prequel movie (I havent watched it myself yet!)

anime adaptions always miss things but I havent read the novel so can’t personally tell you! Hopefully some one out here has read it and can answer for you if not then google might have answers ;)
