### **⚠ NOTICE ⚠: My seedbox will go offline on** [October 13, 2023](https://time.is/1200PM_13_Oct_2023_in_ET). After that, my torrents with no seeds will be "Seeded by Request" You can contact me on discord for that if necessary. That also means It's high unlikely that I will be releasing, or fixing any more torrents for the time being. [I've been seeding all my torrents pretty consistently over these past 3 years](https://i.imgur.com/tYGc2oX.png), so I think I've done pretty well compared to the average releaser. If anything ever changes this announcement will be updated. *Last modified September 18, 2023* --- The source files used to create this release have been deleted. Any changes can no longer be made. --- ### **Release Information** **Source (19GiB)** https://nyaa.si/view/872315 **Mediainfo of the smallest file** https://pastebin.com/raw/EMurWBtj **HandBrake Settings & Screenshots** https://imgur.com/a/c0B6cYP --- **I'm not taking requests; I'm shrinking these for my own collection, but I've decided to upload them.**

For video: Very nice encode very minimal loss is not noticeable unless you frame by frame and zoom in the original has clean line and your the line slightly scattered a little bit, Great job. For Audio: is not a big deal opus 192kbps sound good; it would gread if in qaac at 256kbps cuz you have good audio source.

@naiyas Honestly I don't fully understand audio stuff (mostly because there's no 1 size fits all) but I've been following the recommended settings for opus (because its built into handbrake) on what seems like @ApachePrime's guide. *which I've noticed there's a release you commented on* but they use or at least used it, so maybe I should too idk. **then again it sounds fine to me and that's who I made it for afterall :joy:**
192kb/s isn't bad especially since these are for your own use & small files are the goal, but 256-320 would be the sweet spot for satisfying those who want small files and those who want better audio quality, just something to note if you have any encodes in the pipeline

@immortallix if anything I should switch to xmedia recode for the audio since it lets you do VBR (also *if I wasn't lied to* isn't opus 128k or maybe it was 192k basically the same as 320k mp3s) [I also recommend a read of this](https://kokomins.wordpress.com/2019/10/10/anime-encoding-guide-for-x265-and-why-to-never-use-flac/#audio-codecs-guide)
Interesting read, I don't have much experience with opus, for any encodes I've done in the past I've usually just had them set to true vbr AAC. If I'm understanding that guide correctly ~256 aac is about the same as opus 192? Would a little higher opus be superior to AAC?

yeah opus is pretty efficient ```Would a little higher opus be superior to AAC?``` not sure probably
@Simplistic a higher bitrate opus is superior to aac it's yes, but the downside of opus is not universally supported of wide range devices like HDTV year line 2009 if you have Smart TV opus is now supported but limited.

Yeah, It's not really all that widely supported yet
