What’s up with Go catching all those pokemon without battling? Does anyone have an explanation?

In this show Satoshi represent the mainline games whereas Go represents Pokemon GO.
That’s why Go doesn’t battle wild Pokemon but just throws balls, that’s why his Pokedex yells “Great” and “Excellent”, and most obviously, that’s why his name is Go.
