They're the same piece of media, of course there will be similarities. But thinking that we'd plagiarize when we've released subs first (or even the only ones to release a sub) many times in the past is pretty silly.

I am the one who did the preliminary rough translation of the grease v-cinema the genmcorp sub is based on(of course, many lines are added/changed/rephrased since mine is a rough draft & some lines I couldn't hear properly). It was not copied from the subs you linked. I occasionally take screenshots & dump them in my private discord server while I'm transcribing/translating. I started on it at the end of September/start of October. It's entirely possible that different people can translate similar lines and render them in similar ways. Is that so hard to believe? Here's my proof with date & timestamp that it was done entirely by ear from scratch.
