Imagine releasing someone else's work, editing ever so slieghty, and claming it is yours. Sasuga Banana. https://mega.nz/#F!mRYBja7R!0K_tDFyjhdLqtNXoq9R1TQ

If you're claiming that we plagiarized a sub, this isn't it. https://pastebin.com/raw/HtH1Aqh3
That doesn't prove anything. Oh wow, you transcribe the dialogue. Amazing. So impressed The argument is the fact you have lines that are almost word to word to someone else's translations as shown here: https://i.imgur.com/mcCqSjR.png Before you even dare try to argue that people can translate things similar, they sure can but they also don't make this many similarities in just twenty lines.

They're the same piece of media, of course there will be similarities. But thinking that we'd plagiarize when we've released subs first (or even the only ones to release a sub) many times in the past is pretty silly.
>https://pastebin.com/raw/HtH1Aqh3 What is this supposed to mean? Was this something your translator typed out? >The argument is the fact you have lines that are almost word to word to someone else’s translations as shown here: https://i.imgur.com/mcCqSjR.png Those specific lines are all pretty basic and pretty much any translator would come up with something similar, honestly. Besides, they're not even *that* similar.
It doesn't matter if it's the same movie, the plots are the same, so it must be plagiarized.
@SempiFi Hi! I am the one who did the preliminary rough translation of the grease v-cinema the genmcorp sub is based on(of course, many lines are added/changed/rephrased since mine is a rough draft & some lines I couldn't hear properly). It was not copied from the subs you linked. I occasionally take screenshots & dump them in my private discord server while I'm transcribing/translating. I started on it at the end of September/start of October. It's entirely possible that different people can translate similar lines and render them in similar ways. Is that so hard to believe? Here's my proof with date & timestamp that it was done entirely by ear from scratch. First two pics are screenshots of my transcription/translation.Third pic shows the dates I uploaded the screenshots to discord which matches the first & second pic. https://imgur.com/a/0d4h56q
