I don't have any qualms about using CR rips instead of Blu-Ray in terms of video quality. However, Broadcast (and CR) and Home video releases can have differences in terms regarding censorship and animation touch ups. This was most prevalent in Dressrosa, and youtuber Dropper Amiudake had some pretty good videos showcasing them (unfortunately his channel's been deleted so I can't link them.) However I don't know if there's any noticeable differences between Broadcast/CR and BD/DVD in Zou and onwards. It would be a waste of money to buy and rip the BDs just in case only to find out there's no differences. Hopefully if the dub ever continues we'll get American Blu-Rays and be able to find out that way.
Dub is going to continue they twitted about it with videos of dub cast celebrating.
