is the audio messed or did i dick up somewhere?

Audio displays really nicely on my PC with a pair of low budget stereo speakers. I'm using MPV with SMPlayer frontend. Of course I've switched to forced stereo output. This gives a quite high volume including for the voices. When left to default output I can still ear the voices, the whole volume is lowered but I still can crank it up like sometimes I need to do for some other video with AC3 codec (wich have a lower volume most of the times). I don't seem to have such problem to ear the voices that could have been described on Thora's release (though I never tried it). Edit: sound is here is much higher volume than the 720p counterpart with AC3 codec.
