if the producers could do it right, this could be an incredible anime, or even better a live action series ... sadly it would most likely be turned into a stuuuuuuuuupid/cutsie show that completely destroys the actual story

Thanks, and yeah, just to be clear, I wasn't saying I don't think live action shows can be good, but statistically, as adaptations they're less likely to be good, so if you want something to be good, statistically you'd not want live action. Didn't even realise Erased had a live action, I think I heard about it ages ago and forgot.

@ Leafshade ... no problem ... I do agree with you some of the time ... some live action adaptations really can be pure shit ... the biggest problem when trying to a movie based on any sort of long running story, is how do you condense all that story in to a 1-2 hour long movie ... all too often it requires the producers to completely ignore/delete large amounts of the story ... as for the live action done of Erased, the tv series is WAY better than the movie ... the actors (especially the child actors portraying the child versions of the adults, are excellent/wonderful) ... there are 3 torrents here in nyaa for the tv series https://nyaa.si/view/1039734 https://nyaa.si/view/1039733 https://nyaa.si/view/990482 (I used this one in the past couple of weeks to redownload it and it worked fine, there were actually more seeds than the torrent pages shows, it took less than an hour to get the whole series)
