Thanks for this. I have a quick question. What’s the best way to delay an audio track so that it syncs up with a different video source? I want to mux an English dub FLAC audio track into the MKV container of a different video encode, but the video was encoded from the Japanese Blu-ray release and not the US Blu-ray, so the time duration is slightly different because of this.

Yes you can while muxing, add the audio in mkv merge, set the delay and mux it. You can get the delay by using media player and adjust the audio sync accordingly until it syncs up.

Thanks for the reply and info. I’ll try that out in MKVToolNix. I use Potplayer as my main media player with MadVr, so I’m not sure if it has an audio delay function.

I tried the delay function in MKVToolNix but it just throws an error each time. It might be because I need a delay of 37 seconds(37000 MS) to make the audio match up with where I need it to start playing with the video. There needs to be 37 seconds of silence because the video file has 37 seconds of studio logos that show at the beginning, and then the movie starts. As for Audacity, that’s what I initially tried but I don’t think it allows for a delay of 37 seconds since I can’t get it to work. Maybe I’m wrong?

The video duration is 1:51:27 and the FLAC English dub track duration is 1:50:38.

What is the error? Well what you are trying to do might not work since such a large difference is not normal, delay is normally not more than few seconds so there is a chance it may sync out at some point. You may have to work with audacity then. You may have to cut or silence the audio accordingly to sync them.

Thanks for the release and the effort you put into it. There are some obvious issues you may need to fix, though.

ED subs are off (20 s delay) in EP01, EP07, and EP10.

The ED subs for ep 1,7,10 should be delayed by 26 s. Furthermore, ep 1 and 9 don’t have their outro translated, ep05 outro sub should be delayed by 3.6 s or 3600 ms
