Lollipop (まもって！ロリポップ Mamotte! Roripoppu), lit. ("Protect! Lollipop") is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by (菊田みちよ Kikuta Michiyo). It was serialized in the magazine Nakayoshi and published by Kodansha in Japan between February 2003 and July 2005. In 2009, FUNimation Entertainment dubbed the anime under the name Save Me! Lollipop. Junior high schooler Nina is ready to fall in love. She’s looking for a boy who’s cute and sweet–and strong enough to support her when the chips are down. But what happens when Nina’s dream comes true . . . twice? One day, two cute boys literally fall from the sky: they’re both wizards and they’ve come to the Human World to take the Magic Exam. Nina "accidentally" swallowed a Crystal Pearl that she assumed was candy, but the Crystal Pearl turns out to be a test for the magicians. Nina becomes the new target of many probationer sorcerers taking this test. To retrieve the crystal pearl from Nina, a special medicine has to be made. The two boys, named Zero and Ichii, success on this test depends on protecting Nina from evil until the medicine is ready. So now, Nina has a pair of cute magical boys chasing her everywhere she goes! One of these wizards just might be the boy of her dreams... but which one?
