Here are the final two volumes of the Outlanders manga series. If you previously downloaded volume 7, delete it and download this copy.
Uploaders Note on Edits: While I didn't need to do any cleanup for volume 7, the 8th volume required extensive editing. Be aware that no alterations were done to the resolution size, merely that the pages for volume 8 were in rough shape. Changes that were done involved the cropping of the extraneous border area where the scanner had partially scanned the adjoining page, some enhancement to the clarity of the image (where some pages were dull grey). Check out the samples I have posted below, which show the before and after pictures of the type of changes I had to commit to the final volume. These are the releases from Hinokai. Add. Note: Look below for samples of the work done.
I hope everyone appreciates the work that was done as the editing for the final volume required more than a few hours to work through. The end result is spectacular.

Volume 8 took me a long time to finish editing last night. I'd like to know what everyone thought of the edits after having spent about four or five hours going through each page to ensure the edits were done properly.
Don't mention it. I wanted a full set of Outlanders in great quality for myself as well and there is an added benefit of helping out fellow manga fans who love this series. I read it way back when Dark Horse first published it as a monthly series. Been forever since I last read it that I don't even remember the last time. But, I'm looking forward to reading it again in its entirety. As far as the file size goes, that couldn't be helped.
There is a running gag that runs throughout the entire manga series, that I wonder if anyone picked up in. Johji Manabe, the manga creator, had the habit of drawing himself throughout the series, most often, getting beat up by Princess Kahm. It's hilarious, if you're paying attention to the panels. Reminds me of the running sight gag in Urusei Yatsura, where Lum is always electrifying Ataru.

I'm going to start accepting manga requests over the next few days. So, yeah, I'll be uploading some requested manga. Just give me some time to download them and I'll seed some initial torrents.
Nope. I don't buy them (but, I do buy physical manga). But, I have several sources where I can download manga from. Just the habit of knowing how to search and where to search. Just sources that I come through in the past year and then just bookmarking those sites as a bookmark in my toolbar. I have access to well over a few terabytes of manga. I've also found that different search engines do produce different results since they each have different search algorithms. Mostly, my discovery of such sites that have manga has been found completely by accident during my searches for digital comics (Marvel, D.C., IDW, and so on). It started a few months ago when I bought my first tablet, an Amazon Fire HD 10. If a manga that I download doesn;t meet the clear HD-like quality on my 10" Amazon Fire, then I simply refuse to upload it to share with everyone here. Additionally, if it's also such poor quality, I won't keep it on my Amazon Fire either.

I'll make a request ... that probably a lot of people might enjoy, having a full set of the digital vols ... Video Girl Ai ... what keeps getting uploaded and re-uploaded is just the first 9 vols in digital (by Viz), Lovag-Empire did it first, years ago ... there were actually 15 vols, and all of them did get converted over to digital by Viz, years ago ... here is a link to the Viz site page for it

oh ... LOL ... Johji Manabe did a LOT of other stuff ... much of it hentai or near-hentai ... and the scanlator Saha scanlated a lot of it ... hilarious series like Matatabi Panic and Tail Chaser :-D
...I was a big fan of Saha's work for years and have a bunch of his stuff on archive HDD's
There are a few places I can put in a request for. Let me see what I can do. If I knew how to rip HQ versions myself, I would do so. But, I have no idea. One of the sites (surprisingly) that I've requested manga from has been 4chan. Asking ini the anime and manga board can produce some results but they are a hit and miss. I'll ask on 4chan's main site and then just search boards.fireden.net on a daily basis for such results. Fireden is a popular 4chan mirror and they keep that mirror surprisingly updated. You can find results with an easier searchable database within a few hours of posting on 4chan. I've found anime links, manga links and even digital comic links.
I don't know if it takes any special software to download the digital copies, other people might be able to answer that question ... but I do know that digital format files come in either .cbz or .cbr format ... and all you have to do is change the file extension .cbz to .zip ... and .cbr to .rar ... and then WinRAR can decompress them perfectly :-)

Far as the MyComicPosts, the admin posted a message on his site a few months back that due to not receiving any donations to fund his site that he was shutting the site down when it comes up for renewal this April. His position has not changed, which is why I've been going through his site trying to download as much manga as I can, the manga that he's posted in the past several months. But, he's not the only source for a legion of manga. I was also lucky enough that I still had a BakaBT account long before they took the site private.
Too bad mycomicposts is going down. That's where a lot of obscure and rare uploads were best found.
