yeah took me about 2 months and few 100s of hours back then, and I watched everything twice or more. I'm still confident they re the besto XD there are no new translations after all. (though i might check vertical's LNs at some point, but i don't expect huge improvements, i really enjoy script as it is) PS. Actually for koyomimonogatari, the recent USBD subs looked OK. Only watched some parts quickly but they might be an improvement. Back when i did this sajamba translation was the only option available. they're decent subs, but for my next rewatch i'll just use the USBD. koyo is more of an extra imo, so i don't really care about sub quality much.

Anyone interested, here is some insight based on a bunch of comparisons : 1) 1080p vs 720p for this series is very subtle, and for the most parts, I'd say they are identical, so as long as you opt for a decent 720p release, you won't be missing out on anything !* 2) If any part was done by commie, it is probably best to grab their subs. 3) Kawaiika-raws looks like the best 1080p option for most seasons. *Bakemono and kizumono looks better in 1080p.
