Spice and Wolf / 狼と香辛料 S1+S2 BDRip
10-bit 1080p HEVC + FLAC, MKV format. ~ 1000 MB / EP.
There are 2 official Blu-ray editions, initial volumes and later released box, where the latter gives significant improvement on season 1's image quality (say, it avoids some artifacts in the former). This project is hence based on the Blu-ray box but also includes specials which are only featured in volumes. The major difficulty in pre-processing is terrible banding and then lines with slight aliasing and chroma shift. To better preserve image style and make inconstant image noise coherent, we also apply subjective complement for noise grain in overly smoothed part. Please use attached screenshots in the bottom for intuitive comparison (the first 7 from season 1 and the other 7 from season 2).

Variable bitrate is also has a max and min bitrate (4500~7000), which is almost a constant bitrate (taken 2 best thing from 2 different worlds)
Encoding on HEVC High Main [email protected] Takes lots of resources or time to do so, no hardware acceleration was used, purely on cpu. Respect for this encode!
