The [PCSS](https://pcssubs.wordpress.com/) subs for Splash Star really could’ve used another round of editing. So I decided to do that myself while watching the show.
Changes include:
- some new stock phrases for Bloom and Egret’s transformation scene
- Saki’s catchphrase is now “in top form” like it always should’ve been
- older siblings shall not be referred to by name unless their name is spoken
- some small rewordings for song lyrics
- fixed repeating/missing words
- fixed some blatantly wrong translations
- reworded some dialogue here and there, either for accuracy or to make it flow better
- movie-exclusive v2: changed Precure to Pretty Cure for consistency with the TV series.
Keep in mind, I started this little project nearly 20 episodes in. So it’s possible I may have missed something in the early episodes. But I don’t recall reading anything that made me go “This needs to be fixed, right now!”. It was the later episodes that needed (a lot) more editing.
Anyway, made my own tag for this torrent, since I wanna take credit for these v2s.
You'll find me on the credits at the end of every episode's opening as well.
Mine may not be the definitive version for these subs, but I believe it’s better than what we had before.

Hmm, I'm watching this show right now. Do you know of an easy way to batch remux the new subs into the videos? Right now I've just been using MKVToolNixGUI and remuxing episodes one at a time.

Sorry to say, but I don't know the first thing about making remuxes.
You're better off asking someone from a proper fansub group about those things...
I just made these script changes because I wanted a more satisfactory viewing experience, and external subs were an option.
The catchphrases were kept that way in deference to how Mystery Fan Translation Group X (the original release group of eps 1-24) translated them. "On top form" is the British rendering of "In top form," which was also kept in deference to MFTGX, even as I Americanized most other elements. I don't believe I ever had older siblings directly addressed by name instead of "Onee-chan" and such, but I did sometimes use names when they were being talked about. Songs were also left unchanged from MFTGX. Some "blatantly wrong translations" were liberal rewrites, though I guess there were some genuine mistakes as well. Goes with the territory of being a 1-man "group." No hard feelings; nice to see someone's passionate enough about the Pretty Cure / Precure franchise (let alone an older entry like Splash Star) to do this kind of work, instead of just complaining.

Hello there! Thanks a lot for all your hard work on Splash Star! I couldn't have done these edits without it.
I only started watching Precure last year (in airing order, of course) and it's already become tradition for me to finish one series every summer. Looking forward to watching Yes!5 and GoGo next year.
As for the changes:
Maybe "addressed" wasn't the right word to use. I basically just changed it so names only appear when spoken. (goes to edit description)
And, British or not, "I'm on top form." sounds hella awkward to say compared to "in" IMO.
Most of your liberal rewrites would fall under the "reworded for accuracy" point of my description. There were only a few I'd call "blatantly wrong". Like one of Dorodoron's last lines ("The sky's the limit!") had nothing to do with his Japanese line at all, and it wasn't a pun either. (changed it to "Here's the finisher!" IIRC)

If you don't want them to remux one by one, you can always rename it the same name as the episode you are watching and place it on the same folder. Play it on MKV and you're good to go.
