Watermark suck

This is a full 24 minutes anime encoded with a sub 500kb/s total bitrate for both audio and video streams. The subtitles are hardsubbed with some nice long "copyright" notices and Facebook page spam. The script itself makes questionable choices in vocabulary and has consistently poor grammar throughout. At least there doesn't appear to be spelling mistakes (I was wrong, there's a few.) I believe an editing pass would have greatly benefited it to massage out the weak grammar and the "ostentatious" vocabulary.

The quality is horrible, there is an annoying watermark and the subs are a joke.its full of mistakes and feels like google translate at some parts, some parts dont even make sense and the soup line is completely unrelated to what she is actually saying.

Note: Quality is 720p and it's 23mins of Duration. It's Advanced Encoder. Higher Quality and Minimum File Size.

Ohys Raws 720p is used. But believe me after advanced encoding the file size remains 89mbs than of Raws 384mbs. Both 720p and same Audio properties.

Sigh... Ohys already bad enough and you still compressed it. Less file size doesn't mean better release. Even more if the file size less than +- 150MB for a 720p-23 minutes anime (my opinion, CMIIW). It can be concluded you compressed too much when encoding this anime. And the critical problem for this release isn't only about file size. 1. Cancerous watermark. Remove these. 2. Shit ad-text which disturb subtitle. At least, put your website promotion in beginning or end of the anime. Not when the anime is running. 3. Some mistype and wrong translation. Please recheck before release it. 4. MP4 and hardsub. If you know anything about "Advanced Encoder" or something like that. I'm sure you know how bad with releasing anime/movie/any video using MP4 and hardsub. Though in your response above, I think your knowledge only "At least it's 720p anime". You won't bother to research something like crf, encoding profile, bitrate, or another encoding settings. "Leave it to Advanced Encoder" is what you think.

I think it's good to get some criticism. Clearly a majority want to see improvements so don't be defensive and acknowledge that. There already is an alternative subber for this show so you want to be humble and meet the needs of your audience above your pride and indignation. Otherwise you'll find less people paying attention to your releases.

This was so bad I had to stop within the first five minutes of the show. The group name is in the file name already, it did not need to be on the video too. I didn't even get to the point where the Facebook shit shows up. This entire thing just screams attention whore. If you sub a show well, or at least do a decent job on a more obscure show, you will get recognition without needing to act like a faggot. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort, but even for a free product, its not good enough.

Just so you know many of us are fansubbers, I have been an editor and QC for 10 years and currently and hold senior positions in a couple groups. Back when I was working for Hadena we did not get away with half of the deliberate bs you pulled. If your English is just not great that is not the problem, as that is not exactly your fault. It is the 81.9MB, the arrogance and worst of all THAT WATERMARK that is the most damning thing.
