https://shiteatersubs2.wordpress.com Yo! Dougo13 has graciously allowed us access to his amazing collection of Japanese broadcast recordings, some of which haven't seen the light of day in over 30 years! Here's a raw Dragon Ball episode from the series' infancy, captured from betamax in HiFi stereo and encoded by Dougo13 and shared with his permission. Dragon Ball episode 025: Get Up, Goku! The Fearsome Tenku Pekeji-ken" / "Danger From Above" "Tate Gokū! Osoru Beki Tenkū Pekeji-ken" (たて悟空! 恐るべき天空X字拳) Aired August 13th, 1986. About the inconsistency of the methods of capturing and encoding these releases, particularly the audio, Dougo13 had this to say: "Because of challenges with capturing each tape, some have been capped in AC-3 while others that were capped in LPCM needed to be demuxed and the audio replaced as programs like handbrake doesn't include LPCM passthrough."

@Nala_Alan For future self-improvement, what should we use and why?
OMG, another release ? You guys rock ! Thank you so much !
Well, Handbrake for converting video is fine as it is. (Although I *personally* would never convert a VHS/Beta recording to anything else but rather leave it MPEG2 as the quality can only be worsened and it's a sin to IVTC sources like those). But anyhow... still after the output is finished with Handbrake you can still mux the final product video with the LPCM audio with software like the MKVToolNix GUI very easy and effectively.
wow thanks a lot bro
@shiteaterbubibinman : 2 broadcast uploads wow, thanks ! I'll sync this one too with Dragon Box and put it on nyaa. But please, can you finish to seed, it's stuck at 96.4%... @Nala_Alan : Can you develop on why handbrake is bad to encode with x264 ?
thanks shiteaterbubibinman and andiandi you guys are the best
Handbrake is pretty bad though. MeGUI is better.
Again, why is handbrake bad ?
"Can you develop on why..." You definitely meant 'explain'. I suppose in French develop has a similar meaning to explain/clarify/answer. Canadian-French is supposedly more accurate and faithful to the original French than the modern French used in France as Quebecquians never updated their version since the colonial times. God bless Quebec.
Yes exactly thanks to reminds me that my English is bad haha Quebecquians are so serious with that issue, no English words or strange meaning indeed.
