TL Note: The school bully character’s family name is Kanehira (金平), which can also be read as “Kinpira,” which refers to a style of Japanese cooking in which root vegetables are sautéed and simmered. Usually, the term “kinpira” is short-hand for the dish kinpira gobo, which uses burdock root as the vegetable. As such, Kanehira is nicknamed “Kinpira” in the show, which we’re translating as “Burdock” for the sake of brevity and simplified conveyance.
