I have good headphones and 1000 kb/s song sounds terrible on them i have a lot of hi-res songs and compared to something else this sounds so bad that it hurts.

@szympus11 It's not just you. I got a $120 Sennheiser that was on sale sometime ago. Look at the flac files with spek or some audio analyzer. The mastering of this album and https://nyaa.si/view/1001089 wasn't fully set to max so it's lower quality then the usual CD albums. I had to turn up the volume as well. It's the price we pay for buying a pair of good quality headphones. Over 1,000 kb/s is good enough at times it depends on the mastering.
