Although you should be able to safely install this repack on top of the previous one, it is also possible to uninstall the old one first, without losing game progress.

Note: You might need to disable your antivirus for the duration of install, and then add the game directory as an exclusion. (In particular, Windows Defender is known to go off on steam_api.dll)
